Mr. Dare is a Principal, Co-General Partner, and member of the Investment Committee at Rutherford Investment Company.
Mr. Dare oversees Rutherford’s executive team and sets the strategic direction and executes the business plan for the company. Mr. Dare focuses on scaling Rutherford’s operating entities, broadening its acquisition platform, and expanding the firm’s capital formation. The execution of Rutherford’s long-term strategic and acquisition plan will ensure the company thrives in perpetuity, continues to experience smart growth, and operates at an institutional-grade level. Mr. Dare has grown the company with a focus on service-based leadership, innovation, and collaboration.
Prior to joining Rutherford, Mr. Dare was a Managing Director at Sand Hill Property Company where he led the ground up development of more than $500 million of projects across multiple product types including multi-family, office, retail, and hospitality. Mr. Dare started his career as a strategy consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he had numerous Fortune 500 companies and startups as clients.
Mr. Dare holds a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from University of California, Los Angeles.
