Mr. Mejia holds dual roles as the Director of Construction and the Regional Manager for Rutherford Management Company. In his role as Director of Construction, he is responsible for the management and oversight of all new development and renovation projects for the Rutherford portfolio. He provides expertise in conducting due diligence, estimating construction costs, identifying upside potential and mitigating risk. He manages the planning and execution of all projects, in addition to actively evaluating future acquisitions. To date, Mr. Mejia has overseen $70M in construction projects for Rutherford Investment Company.
In his role as the Regional Manager, Mr. Mejia oversees a 350-unit apartment portfolio and manages daily operations and monthly budgets to maximize business goals and revenue growth. He is directly responsible for guiding and developing property management staff, setting performance objectives, and optimizing operational performance.
